About Milo

Milo is an approximate 2 year old, 30 lbs. mix of a happy, playful and loving boy fostered in Vero Beach, FL. He reminds his foster of a boston terrier in his stature and his movements. He sort of hops when he gets excited. Milo could stand to gain about 5 lbs. or so to fill out. While Milo is currently heartworm positive, he is under treatment and remains healthy. He is fostered with 4 other dogs and gets along well with all of them. He seems to have a high prey drive so cats won't work for Milo. Milo loves to carry around a squeaky toy in his mouth and is toy and treat motivated. He also loves to go for walks and walks pretty well on harness. Milo does have above average energy and needs an active home. He crates pretty well but would do best in a home with someone who is home more than not. Milo is smart and picks up things quickly so should be fun and easy to train. Milo would do best in a home with children over 10 due to his bouncy nature. Milo also would do best in a home with a fenced in back yard.
