About Remy

This is Remy. He is almost 4 years old. He is a Shepherd mix. He was adopted from us in July with our standard adoption contract (must return if can't keep). Well that didn't happen. We have no clue how many homes he has been in but he ended up in another shelter on a bite hold. Apparently there was a dog in the home where he was an she was in season and unfortunately the two dogs got into it. Someone got into the middle of the fight and got bit but because Remy did not have any current shot records he ended up in a shelter on a 'quarantine hold'. We were contacted. At the end of his quarantine hold we picked him up and paid the fees involved for his hold and updated Rabies. This is a perfect example of why our requirements are that all other animals in the home must be spayed/neutered in order to adopt. Remy has been back with us since 10/25/22 and he is doing amazing. He is social with all staff and we aren't seeing any issues with other dogs. He is housebroken. His shots are all now current - he is heartworm negative (tested 11/8/22) and current on his preventatives. He has been neutered since 2020. His current weight is 45 lbs. His adoption fee is $150.00.
