About Dixie

**DELIGHTFUL DIXIE** Age 1.4 Phoenix AZ. Please welcome Dixie to the ANM family! We just rescued her from the MCACC East shelter e-list where she landed because of the lockdown for distemper. She is a darling Cattle Dog mix weighing in at 45lbs who was brought in as a stray in late July. Here is what the volunteers had to say about her: -Allowed petting throughout face head and body. -Took treats nicely. -Demonstrated 'sit' and 'shake' relaxed overtime, leaned into petting. -Her demeanor was soft, playful, and energetic. -Allows pets, gives kisses, sits for treats, takes nicely. -She enjoyed jumping in and out of pool. She is a herding breed so she would do best with an active family that will have patience with her leash training. Dixie will need mind and physical stimulation to keep her on track. She is very smart!! She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and microchipped.
