About Ruger

Ruger has mainly been an outside dog and would prefer to stay that way. Ruger is approx. 8 yrs old, a 100 lbs, red lab mix.�%A0His farm family has had to move into assisted living so he is looking�%A0to continue on with his farm life.�%A0 He will find his spot�%A0 and watch what is happening around him. He enjoys car/truck�%A0rides and may�%A0need help getting in as he is a bit�%A0tubby. Due to the owner's age�%A0he has been confined. We like to�%A0see him able to move around, maybe lose some pounds. We are looking for a family that knows�%A0how to care for outdoor animals and sees them as part of their family. Must have proper shelter, clean water and a bit of attention. No doubt once he bonds to you he'll be your big love bug shadow. He has a low key temperament and can show excitement when it is time for feeding, a�%A0walk or a car ride.. Taking him for short walks or letting him be a part of chores will be your bonding moments. He is good with little ones. He may prefer to be the only farm dog, we will be checking him others as soon as we can and will update. Let us know if you like to meet this special big guy, or have any questions. He will have a low rehoming fee for the right match.
