About Kilo

Kilo is 12-18 months old and is full of love. He was left behind when his family moved away without him. He has been with his foster for about a week and has settled in nicely with their 4 dogs. He adapts quickly to routine, and is very good about going outside to the bathroom. He has been on a few walks and does well, he could use a bit more leash training to master the concept of walking in a straight line; every smell is so exciting! He loves to be with his people, gives kisses, and is so excited to see them when they return, even if they have only been gone for 30 minutes. He loves to snuggle, and be petted. He is a ball guy, loves to chase after them in the yard. He also loves food. Watching him eat is like a magic act-one second the bowl is full and the next it is empty. We think he is probably Great Pyranees/Lab Mix. He has features of both breeds. He has the patience of a Great Pyr, but happily lacks the stubbornness! He has the fun loving personality of a lab, loves to run and play. He weighs 65 pounds right now, he might get a little bigger, but probably not much. He is the perfect size to be indoors, but also a great walking/hiking buddy. He would love an active family who wants a dog to join the fun.
