About Marley

Marley, Boxer mix, 10 months, 40 lbs. housebroken, crate trained. Marley is skittish at first but warms up if you wait for him to invite you. He is very high energy (still a puppy) and would benefit from some help of a trainer the first few weeks after adoption. He loves toys and to play tug of war. Marley learns quickly and needs someone that will be patient and consistent on working with him. Unfortunately, Marley has been three homes in his short life so it's a wonder that he is as good a dog as he is. His first home was a single mother, two small children, a Great Dane and two cats. She decided that that was too much for her to handle so she gave Marley to someone to get him out of the house and find him a new home. His third home and where he is now have decided that he is too much for them since they are near retirement age and realize that he needs an active home. He seems to be submissive around other dogs. He hasn't had much of an opportunity to be around a lot of dogs. Marley needs a home that will stick with him for the rest of his life.
