Carmen is a friendly, five-year-old, 60-pound female pit bull terrier-mix with a cropped tail looking for a loving guardian. Carmen loves people and is full of nub wiggles and kisses for everyone she meets. Carmen is best as the only pet in the home. She will be happy to snuggle up with you, and she loves to go on walks. Can be reactive to other dogs on leash so she can benefit from training. She knows the command sit and will take treats gently from your fingers. Carmen is playful and food motivated. She is crate-trained and appears to be housebroken. She was rescued by Lucky Dog Rescue from a Southern Illinois shelter and brought to Chicago to find a loving family. To meet and possibly adopt Carmen, please contact Melia at [email protected] for an adoption application. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dog Rescue. She is healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and micro-chipped. She has been fostered in Chicago for over three years. It's about time for her to find a permanent home.
