About Chance

CHANCE is a cuddly 18 month old Australian Shepherd/Terrier mix looking for a human companion to love and spoil him while enjoying life together. Loves people, being around people and going with his people on outings and adventures. Would make a great 'work partner' and happily lay by your feet all day while you work. Up for a walk or hike - he will happily go with you and enjoy that too. Great cuddler who likes getting his neck and back scratched. Housetrained. Crate trained. Great car rider, who enjoys going and looking out the window. He's calm and stays seated while driving. Smart boy who knows basic commands, 'sit, come, no, be nice' and would enjoy learning more if taught. Walks well on leash and will stay by your side off leash. Sleeps through the night in his own bed in his foster's room. Not a big barker. Chance is hesitant and somewhat reserved around other dogs. He shows interest in playing with them but usually hangs back. But he does enjoy running around the yard, having other dogs chase him when he has a toy. He would do best in a home where his person will give him the time to settle in and feel safe. Thrives with one on one attention, and would be happy as the only pup in your life. He would be best in a home without cats. Chance is not a digger or a jumper, and not destructive inside, but will need to be crated when left alone, until he feels comfortable in his new home. Has not been tested around children, so we are recommending older children, if any. Chance is 29 lbs. neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative and current on prevention. *In addition to his adoption fee, there is a $150 transport fee to bring this boy to the Colo from Texas
