About Austin

Austin is rather low maintenance and requires little in regards to needs. He likes to be around his people, he will follow you right on your heels and likes to hang out where you hang out. His favorite thing is to find a good grassy patch and roll and bathe in the sun! He loves treats and enjoys learning things such as sit, place, kennel and even enjoys toys and puzzles. He'll do just about anything for food! Austin needs a special forever home because he is terrified of human touch. We're not sure what has created this as he doesn't show signs of mistreatment, more just signs of being alone or feral(non aggressively so). He does fine in a crate, prefers his room even. He gets along with dogs and cats just fine, and enjoys chews. Austin really needs someone who can help create that bridge between dog and human, and show him all the belly scratches he's missing! He's a sweet, older gentleman who needs some place quiet and kind to spend his remaining years. Will you be Austin's savior?
