Please read full post as dog has special needs! FOUND on October 14, 2022 near Houston, TX 77092 Can you help me find my home? A nice lady and her dog found me abandoned in a neighborhood. She couldn't find a tag or microchip, but said I look clean and healthy. I'm a bit scared of strangers, but I'm fine once I get to know you! I'm good indoors and walking on a leash. I like other dogs, I love tennis balls and of course bacon! The nice lady can't keep me for much longer. Can you please help? ***MEDICAL*** Sex: Male Spayed/neutered: no Weight: 14 lbs. Age: 2 - 3 y.o. Breed: rat terrier mix Teeth: good Appetite: good Energy levels: good (not hyper) Heartworms: negative Fleas: none Vaccines: up to date ***BEHAVIOR*** Aggressive: YES; not good with strangers, particularly men. However, has never been aggressive with me and after 1 day my husband was able to pet/hold him with ease. Snarls and snaps when approached too quickly. Had to be double muzzled to be examined by vet. House trained: Yes, but did have accidents and destructive behavior when left alone Leash trained: Yes Crate trained: unknown Food aggressive: no Kids: unknown Other dogs: Good Cats/other animals: unknown Car rides: ok (cries in car) Sleep: good (sleeps in dog bed on bedroom floor) ***PLEASE NOTE*** This dog will be taken to a local animal shelter on 11 a.m. Saturday 10/22/22. Due to his behavioral issues, he is a high risk for euthanasia.
