About Regan

Look at this beautiful girl! Regan is a pitbull terrier who is about 5 years old and weighs 62 pounds. Regan found herself in a rural shelter when her owner could not longer care for her. She sat in a kennel for weeks while adopters chose younger, smaller dogs and left Ragan behind. When the shelter bacame full, Regan was scheduled to be euthanized so she came to Augusta Dog Adoptions to save her life! Regan was so worth saving! This happy girl loves people, is housetrained and has good indoor manners! She has lived with another female dog and seems to like the other dogs she meets! She does have a dominant play style so an active, submissive yet playful pup would be the best fit for her if she is adopted by a home with another dogs. Regan is the perfect combo of energy and calm! She's up for a trek around the neighborhood but equally willing to sack out with you on the couch! Whadda ya say? Can you be the happy ending Regan is hoping for? Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
