About Jasper

Jasper's foster family has this to say about him: 'He is the best dog; he's such a love bug. He loves humans of all kinds. He knows basic commands - sit, stay, lay, place, and 'in' for his crate. It's rare he goes in the crate since he's the best dog ever! He's great on a leash and wants to meet every dog within reach. He's a whole body wag kind of pup. His favorite thing is lying in bed with his human and his second favorite thing is lying on the couch with his human.' Jasper is one happy 66 lb. hunky doggie. Around 4.5 yrs. old, Jasper is just a fantastic pup. He's a great mix of gentle, calm, confident, silly/goofy, sensitive, and smart, and he loves to please. While he loves his walks, he also loves to balance that out with many cuddles! Who are Jasper's ideal companions? He's good with other dogs and shares toys and treats with his foster dog siblings. Jasper has lived with cats, and, on occasion, he has chased them. Since he's a big boy, Jasper would do best with older, respectful kids who understand how to engage with a dog of his size.
