Arf! Arf, everyone! I'm Chloe, a sweet, loving, happy-go-lucky, super-smart chestnut 35-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix gal with white tuxedo markings who was born about October 2021. I'm very puppy-like, but then again, I'm still a teenager! Despite my medium size, I love to lay in the laps of my foster family. Another of my favorite things to do is ride in the car. Actually, I'm game for about anything. Playing fetch with a ball is great, but I haven't figured out about bringing it back to my human. I absolutely love all humans and kids, but true confessions, I'm not compatible with either dogs or cats. So I'll need to be an only-child pet, which means all the more love I can shower on my human family. We Am Staffs are known to be good-natured, lovable 'personality dogs' around the house, and that fits me to a 'T.' I just wandered from house to house in my neighborhood after my deadbeat owners moved away and left me behind. I was emaciated when my future foster family found me roaming in 100-degree heat. I was in terrible distress because I was desperately hungry and thirsty. Lady Fortune was looking out after me because my foster family loaded me up in the car and hauled me home. That was the real turning point in my life. My foster family has been comforting me by telling me that the record inflation is making people do unforgiveable things to their pets through no fault of the pet. Then I surprised everyone a few weeks later by giving birth to a stillborn puppy. My foster family took me to the vet the next day, and after an ultrasound revealed that I had another stillborn puppy inside me, emergency surgery was performed to remove it because I could never deliver it myself. Now I'm fixed so I'll never get pregnant again. My foster family loves me but has another dog, and since neither of us pooches is dog-friendly, I have to stay in an office annex in the back yard instead of the main house.
