About Cinnamon

Meet beautiful Cinnamon who is Miss Personality! She is a petite mixed many breed (Heinz 57!) dog, medium size approximately 34 pounds whose top 3 breeds are American Pit Bull Terrier, German Shepherd Dog and Golden Retriever, according to her DNA test results. Cinnamon's date of birth is 10/19/13. Cinnamon lost the only home she ever knew when her family moved out of state a year ago. Needless to say, this was very sad and traumatic for her, but she has recovered and is doing well. She is friendly and loves humans, including kids. She gets along with cats and other dogs after getting to know them. She lived as an only dog for the first 9 years of life and was not around other dogs. After proper introductions and getting to know another dog, she gets along fine with him/her. She is well behaved in the house and knows many obedience commands, such as sit, stay, down, paw, come, leave it, etc. She is very smart. She is active, loves, loves her toys and likes to play fetch and go for walks. Miss Cinnamon is very loving, affectionate with a great personality. She is a great dog who is happy, calm and obedient, not to mention photogenic! She takes great photos! She is gorgeous! She is a great companion and a great addition to your family! Cinnamon looks and acts young and is healthy and has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. $100 adoption fee, cash only, which is to help reimburse for a portion of expenses of dog rescue and rehabilitation. Thank you. Our adoption process involves submitting a completed application and then meeting the animal by appointment. We have the best interest of the animal in mind and our goal is to find a good, permanent home for each of our rescued animals. We have the right to decline an application if we feel it is not a good match/fit or suitable home. If you like the animal and we both feel it is a good match, an application and adoption contract is completed. A convenient day/time is arranged for us to deliver the animal to its new home to do a home/yard check (to make sure the home and yard is safe and secure). We will collect the adoption fee (cash only) when we deliver the animal to its new home. All our adoptions are on a trial basis because our goal is to have a successful adoption where the animal has a good permanent home and never ends up in a bad situation again. We ask that you give the animal a chance to adjust and settle in his new home and environment. Going to a new home with new people and a new environment is traumatic and stressful. It will take time for the animal to become comfortable around you and his/her new home. This should be a bonding period where you get to know the animal and connect with it, spend time with it and take things slow. He/she will need to get to know and trust you and learn the rules of the house and what is expected of him/her. This takes time, sometimes 2-3 weeks. During this time we will hold the adoption fee and if the adoption is not working out, we ask that you contact us and return the animal and we will refund your adoption fee.
