About Miss Utah

Chow Chow / Shar-Pei
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

This beautiful chow pei looking girl is friendly with people, dog-friendly, and even cat-friendly. Miss Utah finds herself at the Animal Friends of the Valley shelter in Wildomar. She is estimated to be 1.5-year-old named and the shelter has named her Utah (#628614). She is already spayed, only 31 pounds and a staff favorite. Utah is a very happy girl even with a right corneal ulcer. So we are looking for a foster or someone who wants to adopt her that we can possibly refer to a rescue to help with needed medical. She also has a twitch on the ride side of her body which she has had since March, this is believed to be from illness when a puppy. Utah was originally left in the shelter night drop back in January with no information but quickly adopted out. This family had her for eight months and said she is good with other dogs (male and female), kids, and cats and housebroken! They returned Utah last month because of a move/landlord. Utah was quickly adopted out again but returned again because they were overwhelmed with having two dogs (including their male shepherd who Utah got along with!) and the corneal ulcer. Utah is available now, we are in need to find her a foster and rescue or good home. If you can foster or foster to adopt, please contact [email protected] or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network who is trying to assist with her placement. The shelter may be reached directly at Monica Marshall, Rescue Coordinator Animal Friends of the Valleys 33751 Mission Trail, Wildomar, CA 951-674-0618 ext. 224 [email protected]
