About Sunny (Sundae)

Sunny was adopted at about 1 month old and she has been with me for 5 years & 2 months now. I am no longer able to take care of her due to a government job that I will be starting soon that will have me away from home a lot. She is house Broken and trained in other ways. She is smart & listens to commands well. She is also very sweet and protective. Sunny does not like the presence of children due to an incident that occurred when she was a pup. The incident did not make her a threat to them but she will distance herself if able whenever one or more are present. If not able she will just sit very still tolerating them until they are gone. She can be aggressive when frightened but only to warn with low growls and a very direct stare. Sunny has not been spayed, and has had one litter of puppies. She can be a picky eater because I have always kept her eating area very clean & would add soft dog food or human food that she is able to consume with hard dog food. She has never been to the vet. I self vaccinated her and would take her to groomers up until she was about 3 years old. After she stopped going I started bathing & grooming her myself and have every since. She loves car rides & going to the park. She is dog friendly, I've never had her in the presence of other animals to know if she is anything but dog friendly. She does not like to be bath but once in cleaning area she behaves and is cooperative. She has a tendency to destroy any toy that is not unbreakable because of her very strong teeth and jaws. I only buy toys made of material that is strong enough to last. Sunny is getting older and it shows in the fur around her eyes. That fur is now a brownish color but the rest of her is still white with black spots. Shhe loves to play (wrestle, tug of war etc..) and to give & receive kisses. She has always had a cage but if inside she barks a lot, especially if there is someone at the door or close to the yard. Other than that she's an open book.
