About Willie in Denver

**Courtesy Post** Willie is 5-6 year old and neutered. Willie has been in foster with me for several months now and I believe he is absolutely ready for his forever home! Willie is a very typical purebred JRT�'�|loves cuddling but has plenty of energy for running around and going on walks. Willie is a bit of a grumpy old man with other dogs, so I recommend he goes to a home with no other dogs OR a home with a calm older dog/s. I wouldn't call it aggression, just has no time for BS. He is cat friendly! We have worked really hard on his training and he now knows heel, sit, down, place, door manners, come when called, and a couple fun tricks. He LOVES food and tug. I am happy to run potential adopters through all of the training and methods I use. He NEEDS a calm home environment. (Back-story: Willie was previously owned by a homeless girl who simply couldn't control him. He was less than a day away from potentially being put down due to previous behavioral issues that we have since worked through. This boy has been through so much and he just needs a calm place to call home.)
