About Milo

MILO is a happy, fun, athletic 22 month old Border Collie looking for an active home where he will be an included family member. Good energetic boy who will be an amazing running and hiking partner, but also has an 'off' switch and knows how to relax in the house. He will lay by your feet for naps, after he gets some exercise. Milo is a great companion for an active person/couple who wants a loving boy to share their life. Super dog friendly. Housetrained. Crate trained. Loves to play fetch and run around playing with other dogs. Smart boy who knows basic commands 'sit, stay, wait, comes when you call his name' and would love to learn more commands/tricks. Great car rider. Not a big barker. Sleeps through the night. Older children recommended, due to typical young Border Collie mouthy behavior when he gets excited - he responds very well to 'no, uh-uh' and redirects. Enjoys his daily walks, just needs a little work walking on leash. Probably had not been on leash before going to foster home. He is learning quickly and getting better everyday. Has not been cat tested, so will not be adopted to a home with cats. Only homes with fenced yards can be considered for this guy. Milo is 53 lbs. neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative and current on prevention. *In addition to her adoption fee, there is a $150 transport fee to bring this boy to Colorado.
