Fergus is a 5 year old, 12 pound Bichon. He was released from an Iowa breeder. Fergus does great with other dogs and needs a dog buddy in his home to follow and play with. He loves his humans and sleeps in bed every night. By watching the other dogs at his foster home, he has learned that toys are fun and playing chase with another dog is too. Fergus now runs through the fenced yard at his foster home. He doesn't have much experience on a leash so we would like his forever home to have a fenced yard. Fergus goes down the steps stairs into the yard at his foster home but doesn't come back up them on his own yet. He is doing well at his housetraining but does need to be watched and go out often. He would enjoy a home where his people are retired or work from home so they can be around most of the time. He wants to be with his people. Fergus gets excited at meal time and has learned to bark to tell his foster parents to hurry up and put his bowl down. Fergus is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped. He just had a dental September 6th.
