About Cinderella

This gorgeous girl is Cinderella, Rella for short, and she is in search of her very own Prince or Princess Charming. Life has not always been easy for this approximately one year old kitty girl who appears to be a Maine Coon Domestic Mix. In February of this year this young lady began appearing on the outer fringes of a managed cat colony in Midlthian Virginia. Fearful to come too close to the other kitties, Cinderella kept her distance and enjoyed the orts left behind when the colony members finished their meal. A kind hearted trapper caught her and she was spayed. Following her spay Rella showed her trapper just what a sweetheart she is, rubbing up against her legs, twirling around on her tiptoes and chattering her hellos. Although her trapper was smitten with Rella, she had no room to take her in to her home so Rella was released back to the colony. At first she was protected by an older kitty man, a big guy, named George. However, as time went on Rella again found herself on the outskirts of the colony with very little food coming her way. She began wandering not showing up at the colony for days and often when she appeared she was covered in grease and oil. Sweet Rella was taking refuge in a truck lot near the colony feeding station. Her trapper/feeder reached out for assistance and I offered to take Rella in to my indoor rescue fold. While she was initially a tad bedraggled, her coat dull and her nose riddled with mosquito strike, she has blossomed in the three weeks that she has been with me. Her coat has filled out, not only is it now super fluffy, it is super soft and shiny. Rels is an absolute dear chattering/talking to me/at me the minute I walk into the room she currently calls home. She loves to receive pets and happily both raises her chin and lowers her head welcoming my touch. Rels has been spayed, rabies and distemper vaccinated, flea treated, treated for ear mites, received an antibiotic for her mosquito strike and been microchipped. The only thing missing now is a human or humans to call her very own. If your are in need of rescuing Rella is ready to be your absolute best kitty buddy, so please feel free to contact me.
