He looks like a marshmallow puffå%A0and is just as sweet! He loves to follow you everywhere and enjoys short walks. He is good at meeting people when introduced properly.å%A0He isn't fond of excitable people or dogs but will cuddle calm dogs. Puffy prefers to be the only focus of your attention. Heå%A0is 9 years old and only 6 pounds but he can not be carried often or moved around too much because he has arthritis in his back. He is on daily pain medication that he will need for life. He also has Paraphimosis which occurs when the penis is extended out of the sheath. He had a corrective surgery that did NOT correct the issue. He will need daily veterinary lubricant you can do at home and occasional bath soaks to keep him comfortable as well as keep the tissue clean and healthy.å%A0This is a condition for life since his other alternative is anå%A0invasive surgery that is also not guaranteed he can withstand. Currently staying on the pain medication with the lubricant and special soaks, he is completely functional and happy. He loves the fenced yard for frequent potty and his version of playing.å%A0Puffy is currently in a foster home that is taking care of all his needs. We areå%A0a no kill organization and he has quality of life, but we would like to get him into a devoted home that can fulfill his needs.å%A0He is tiny and wants to be with his people!å%A0His blood work and urinalysis are good. He does have some arthritis we are treating with pain and inflammation meds.å%A0He received a dental cleaning with his other vet care and has been to the neurologist. NO CHILDREN.å%A0This dog's adoption fee is $200 to go towards their vettingå%A0(vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme test, fecal test, pre-op blood work, dental cleaning, and microchip as well as grooming if needed).
