About Boss

American Staffordshire Terrier mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

It seems like Boss really wanted to be a FBCAS dog! He was originally found by the FBC Sheriff's office as a stray on 1/11/22'|but this good boy had a microchip! It had been implanted by Baytown Animal Control. They gave us the owner information they had on file - this was owner #1. Owner #1 said that he had surrendered Boss to the SPCA. A quick call with them turned up owner #2's information. We were able to happily reunite Boss with owner #2 on 1/14/22. Then Boss came in as a stray again on 1/20/22. Owner #2 picked him up and took him home the very same day. Unfortunately when Boss came in as a stray a third time on 8/2/22 his owners didn't come to pick him up again despite attempts to contact them. All this has happened to him in his only 2 years of life. Boss's somewhat unsteady past are not his fault. We'd really like to find him his furever home where he'll be loved and adored like the good boy he is - and he is a very good boy! He's always so happy when he's around people. He loves attention and would happily stay by your side all day as long as you pet him. He walks well on a leash and he already knows how to sit on command. He has an average energy level and can either pump up his energy level to play or settle down for a good cuddle session - he's happy with either! Boss is 3YO Staffordshire who weighs 73 lbs.
