About Archie

Sweet Archie is here to steal your heart and he is so hoping that you'll want to share it. Archie is an amazing elderly gentleman (about 10 years old, so a senior but a young senior) who is blind and has some hearing loss but he is a survivor. Archie is 10 pounds, a yorkie mix and a snuggle bug. He wandered up to a former adopter's home which in itself is a miracle as she took him right in, recognized his sensory issues and began the process of making him a Stinker. Archie is able to map out his room in his head quickly and once you show him where his water bowl is a few times, he is able to navigate without a problem. He loves a couch but doesn't like being left up there alone, he will play with other pups but because of his vision loss he might aggravate them as he tends to bump into them. A home with lower energy dogs might be best for sweet Archie. A fenced in yard is required as he does like to explore. Kids and cats are most likely no problem.
