About SADIE

Great Dane / American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Sweet SADIE was saved by one of our Board Members who often takes in local dogs who are in grave danger in addition to lots of Rotts. Sadie was on her last day and a plea went out for this super sweet girl. Sadie is between 2 and 3 years of age with 'beautiful teeth' according to the vet. The vet felt said her predominant breed is Lab and we can only guess at the rest. Sadie is kid-friendly and dog-friendly (she gets along with big and little dogs of both sexes). Her favorite past time is laying on her fluffy dog bed and playing with her pack mates. She walks well on a leash and is housebroke. Sadie is also crate trained. Sadie virtually never sheds (bonus) and actually LOVES visiting the vet's office (extra bonus)! She weighs about 65#, is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations. Sadie is fostered in southwest Virginia. ** ADOPTION DETAILS: Each dog is spayed, neutered, (unless medically on hold) up to date on shots, dewormed, and microchipped. At this time, due to the size of our rescue, adoptions are limited to NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA, VIRGINIA and +/-6 hours from Raleigh, NC. ADOPTION FEE: Please contact our rescue about the adoption fee. There is a non-refundable $25 application fee. Fee can be paid using the 'DONATE' button on our website (www.RottweilerHeartsRescue.org) - please indicate in the notes that it is for an application fee, and the intended dog. If you have any questions, please email our adoption coordinator at [email protected]!
