About Dopey

Welcome Dopey to CCPAL Rescue. Sleepy is a 10-week old Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mixed puppy. He is very sweet and cuddly and one of the bigger pups in the litter. He should be a 25-pound dog full grown or less is our guess for Dopey. He came in from one of the local high kill Animal Controls that are flooded with dogs right now. He was the last one that CCPAL recently accepted. The pups were out of time. There were 8 puppies. CCPAL took 4 of them because we are also full of dogs and puppies right now. The Animal Control let us know that one parent was a Boston Terrier and one was a Chihuahua. They are soft when you pick them up and Dopey is very cuddly. They all get lots of attention and time being held at the rescue. They are also playful and fun puppies. Someone that is not gone all day every day is going to be the best home for one of these puppies. They need to finish up their puppy training. They are good in a crate and social with each other in the litter. Dopey is getting his puppy vaccines and once he has had 3 will be ready to leave the Rescue. He should be ready to leave in about 3 weeks. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older due to the small size of the puppies and their trusting nature. Dopey will have a more sturdy and squatty body than a Chi and will have the body shape more like the Boston. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180.
