Her name is Lilly Ann and she responds to it very well. She is a Corgi / cattle dog mix. Vet said she was around a year in age. Very sweet, eager to learn and always wants to be by her person. She does great with cats, and my two dogs. But she does get very jealous of her human when another dog is near her person. She has show her teeth, but hasn't started any fights nor do i believe she would. But i do think she would do best with a very submissive dog, or no dogs at all since she is an attention hog. I dont know much about her past life, other then her being abandoned in a large fenced yard. It took her a while to feel comfortable in my home so her potential adopter will need to know to take things very slowly and that it will take a few weeks her personality to blossom. She is fearful of objects being raised above her and gets very intimidated by tall men or people who move too quickly. She did nip the hand of a friend of mine, but he came down to quickly and admitted he should have been Introduced slower. She does fine with him now, but is still very intimated by men and has a habit to nip at shoes of men who shuffle their feet. We have tested it on women and it only seems to be men that she has a problem with. It is a very light nip, that i do not believe is there to cause damage, i believe it is the cattle dog in her coming out. ( i am no expert though- i just own a blue heeler myself and know how they can be ) Aside from needing to be more socialized with men, this is a very smart dog eager to learn and do good things. She does well off leash, comes when called (even with distractions) and will stay right by you with a heel while walking. She is 100% potty trained, goes in a crate, doesn't tear things up, and is always looking at her person for direction. Did amazing at the vet, let me clip her nails, clean her ears and took a bath with ease. She knows sit, potty, come, lay down, and only barks when there is something her owner should know about. For example: knocking on the door. She is not food aggressive and she takes treats nicely. She dose not know drop it so it is hard to get things out of her mouth but with the right training i believe she will learn that quickly. Even with her short little legs, she has a ton of energy. She lives to swim, pick up sticks, play ball, and basically do anything her human is doing. She will need lots of room for exercise and an experienced owner with this breed.
