Meet ROXIE & ROGER! These two little pups came from different backgrounds, but have been so good for one another while in foster care. They are both about 4-5 months old. and weigh about 10 lbs. They seem to be small breed mixes, but it's hard to determine exactly how big they will grow to be. This is a guess...but thinking they will be about 15 lbs. as adults. Both of these puppies must have had VERY rough lives. For such young dogs, they are quite shy and fearful at first. They will both need time to decompress in a new home...and will require gentle/patient adopters. We are not sure yet if they NEED to be adopted as a pair (they have not been together for very long, but they adore each other). We will have to wait and see on this...but they certainly CAN be adopted together! ROXY (left) is the more skittish of the two. Once she trusts you, she is just precious and so sweet. She was completely shut down for quite a while but has made great progress with the help of her foster pal. ROGER (right) is also shy at first, but is still totally willing to be scooped up and coddled. Once he comes out of his shell, he does the most adorable little zoomies! They are both great with other dogs! They just need the right adopters who will honor the time they will need to adjust and not attempt to try too much, too soon. Spayed/Neutered/Vaccinated.
