About Ollie

This is Ollie. He is almost 3 years old. He is a Lab/Boxer/German Shepherd mix according to his DNA test. Ollie has come a long way since he came into us and it is time to find him his very own home. He just needs someone to give him a chance. He is a big boy. It has taken him a long time to come around and accept the staff without being reactive. He is now able to go out to the play yards with volunteers and will come back in without issue. He allows all of us to pet him and love on him. It is still a slow approach but once he lets you get close he loves the attention. He will probably not be a walk in and meet him and go home type of adoption - he will require his potential adopters to come and spend time with him so he can learn to trust. He loves to go on walks so between walks and treats that is the fastest way to get him to love you. He does participate in playgroup with select dogs. Because he can be reactive we are not recommending him with cats. If you have another dog we would have to do a couple of meet and greets to make sure they get along well. He is housebroken, knows basic commands, reacts better to women than men and we would recommend older children only. He is neutered, current on shots, wormed, heartworm negative, current on preventatives. His adoption fee will be $100.00.
