Mr Hemmingway has a smile to light up your day and is even cuter in person. He is described as a smaller, super sweet boy by volunteers. Sadly, he was abandoned by his former home who left him loose to roam. He was then brought to the Maricopa shelter by a good Samaritan who found him as a stray. The owner's ex was then tracked down who provided some helpful information. Mr. Hemmingway is reported as being a bit shy around other animals, and mostly keeps to himself, and is curious about cats. He is also reported as good around children as young as 2 years old in the past. He had been previously neutered, has no reported medical issues, and is said to be potty trained. Mr Hemmingway is believed to be 4 years young and weighs 44 lbs, so he is perfect size. We do not know his exact breeds but he is listed as a chow mix, but could have some eskie, shepherd and or sheltie in him as well. We will be hopefully getting video of him and have more pictures to share. More information about Mr Hemmingway can also be found on her shelter notes at: https://apps.pets.maricopa.gov/adoptablePets/DetailPage.aspx?RecordLocator=NzIwNjM1OTVB .
