Name: BEAR Age: 6-8 years old Breed: Plott Hound Weight: 60# Sex: Male (neutered - per owner) Location: Guilford County, NC Vet Info: Bear is reported to be blind and UTD on vaccines (per owner). Bear has not had a HW test. Bear is also reported to have separation anxiety and arthritis. Owner Info: Bear's owner and her roommates are full time students working full time internships and jobs and don't have the time to properly care for bear and his special needs and behavioral issues. Bear is described as an indoor dog confined to one area of the house. He is said to be house broken and leash trained. Bear used to have access to a yard, which helped with his separation anxiety, but he is now in an apartment. He broke his initial crate and his owner can not afford to get a new crate. Bear demonstrated aggression towards another dog during feeding time. Bear does to get along well with cats. Bear bit the owners friend by mistake when the friend came between Bear and his cat. Skin was not broken. Bear has bitten other people, his owner thinks it was a response to pain from his arthritis.
