Henry the 'mini Aussie' is a 5 y/o 25 pound ball of pure wiggly energy and affection. When not checking on his humans, Henry loves bounding around the yard and going on multiple walks a day to get his energy out. He is highly interested in sights and smells but does not pull very much on his leash; the hardest part is getting him to sit still long enough to put his harness on because he's just so excited! After a long walk Henry loves to curl on the couch so you can pet his long, beautiful fur. This guy has been through a lot on his journey to CCFR and as such he is somewhat skittish in new places and around loud noises. He is not a good fit for an apartment situation so a fenced in yard is required. He had a female kennelmate that he got along with but did not get along with his male foster brother and has been growler when meeting new dogs, so we recommend Henry is an only dog. He has not been kid tested but respectful children 10+ should be fine. We also do not recommend a home with cats or rodents. He is used to someone being at home during the day but can be left for a few hours by himself. He is a cheerful guy who makes some happy or distressed noises when he wants to go out or feels left alone but he hasn't barked around his foster family. Henry needs someone active who can match his energy level and give him the happy home he was denied as a stray. If interested in meeting Henry, you may complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms as the first step. We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Henry is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $400 and we are not doing any out of state adoptions.
