About Millie

She's a miniature Dachshund and when she's finished with her weight loss goals, she will weigh around 12 lbs. When Millie entered MHCR, she was morbidly obese at 21 lbs. She immediately embarked on a weight loss journey and her fosters have greatly enjoyed watching her blossom into the dog her mind wanted her to be. Millie is good with most dogs. She isn't a dog's dog and derives most of her joy from her people. She loves taking walks (and continuance is critical for her weight loss goals), running in her backyard, and of course, snuggles with her peeps. Millie is doing quite well with her house training. Her new family should be open to creating a routine for her and being patient while she adjusts to it. *Only applicants with a yard will be considered.
