About Winston

*Age: 2 year old *Gender: Neutered Boy *Breed: Jindo Mix *Weight: 45lbs *Story: He was rescued from the street. We assume he escaped from the dog meat farm. Poor Winston was covered with many scars all over his body. Winston could be shy in the very beginning under new environments and it could take one or two days for him to adjust. However, he NEVER be a shy dog. He is born with very PEOPLE FRIENDLY nature with high energy level. His happy face will make everyone laugh and he will constantly ask for you to paly with him. This high energetic boy loves to hang around with other dogs as well. No aggressive bone in him. He is very friendly to other dogs but he hasn't been tested with cats. He is ok with human kids but we don't want to recommend a home with young kids due to his high energy level. Separation anxiety is not noted. Winston is crate trained. He may bark to outside noise. For instance, he barks when he senses someone is at the door or the package is delivered at the door stop. Barking doesn't last long though. He stops by himself. Winston likes to eat and he seems always look for foods, never gets full?. It is recommended to tell him 'sit' and 'wait' before giving him foods. Otherwise, he would just rush to eat as he is obviously a great eater. However, food or resource guarding is not reported. He sleeps in his doggie bed at night. This happy boy is potty trained well and he hardly does territorial marking. One of his favorite things is going out for walks and he does pretty well on a leash. He doesn't seem to be interested in playing with toys though. It could be changed once he finds piles of fun toys waiting for him at home. He loves to walk outside and play with other dogs in a dog park. He already knows a few basic commands in Korean and we believe he is ready to learn more in English. Riding a car is not an issue with him. *Ideal family: -The family who stays pretty active and likes outings -The family who can handle high energy pup. -The house with the fenced backyard where he do free run -The family without young kids due to his high energy level *Medical Note: Negative on Giardia and Parvo, Heartworm. No other medical conditions are noted. Winston is in South Korea waiting for the family willing to give him a loving home.
