Mystery the Malinois was found as a stray, and (shockingly) no one came looking. She's stressed in the shelter and shy with strangers. But volunteer Ryan starting working with Mystery, helping her come out of her shell. We took Mystery out into the yard at West Valley shelter to spend some time with her. Brian and I let Ryan interact with her, but before we knew it she was sitting next to me, and offering Brian her paw! She warms up quickly, and she'd do that for you. Mystery entered the shelter intact and underweight at 45lbs. She is now spayed and has gained some weight. She is 4 years old. She is quiet in her kennel, and has a beautiful face that lights up once she's outside. Unlike some Mals, Mystery doesn't require a breed-savvy adopter-but it would help if they were at least breed-aware. Mystery showed no interest in playing fetch, instead preferring to explore the yard and check in with her new group of friends. Watch each video in the Comments so you can see what happened after 10 minutes in the play yard! Then come meet Mystery at West Valley shelter this weekend!
