About Scotty

Hi everyone! I'm Scotty, a cute, alert, people-oriented, and fun-loving 11-pound wheaton-colored Norfolk Terrrier/ Schnauzer mix fella who was born in March 2021. I'm great with everybody-- adults and kids -- as well as other dogs. I gladly curl up in my foster mom's lap, but I also am game for adventure. We Norfolk/ Schnauzer mixes have a reputation as good travelers because we're portable, adaptable, and up for anything. We love to accompany our owners because we hate to be left alone. We're loyal, so we bond very closely with our owners and make fiine watchdogs. Norfolks were bred to be 'perfect demons' in order to hunt vermin and foxes in packs, so we're feisty, confident, sturdy, fearless, and more gregarious than a typical terrier. A Good Samaritan found me wandering the mean streets of Houston as a stray without tags or microchip and turned to Miss Donna to find me a wonderful new family, which I'm confident she will do. Since we Norfolks are generally gay, hearty dogs who are great with everyone, I'm sure that I'll have a new family in no time. Don't waste any time arranging to meet me today as I won't be available for long! Scotty is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $250 for dogs older than 9 months. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
