About Goldie Hawn

Meet Goldie Hawn, She is a 4 year old mini Goldendoodle. She is about half the size of a standard doodle but not tiny. I would say she is around 35-40 lbs. Goldie was a breeding mom from a puppy mill in Missouri. She is very timid and hesitant with people. She has been in foster for two weeks and is slowly starting to trust. She has started to come into the house on her own ( if we aren't looking) and will hang out on the deck with us as long as she is a safe distance away. She came to us covered in Matts, and ticks. Goldie has visited a groomer and looks much better now! She is very sweet, but freezes in fear when you go near her. She does much better with other dogs, so she will need a confident dog companion to show her that people are okay. She will be amazing when she finally learns she is safe now. She will flourish in a quiet home, with no young children. She LOVES to sleep in her crate where she feels safe. Funny enough she likes to grab stuff from the laundry basket and bring it in there with her to sleep with. She doesn't mess them up, just seems to like things in there with her. She loves to be outside, but will howl if she is alone without her dog friends. If you have puppy mill or extremely shy dog experience we would love to move her to her forever home so she can start the next step in her recovery. Adoption fee includes, spay, shots, and microchip.
