About Duke the Lab Hound Mix

Introducing Duke, a 1 year old lab/ Hound mix male. Duke is a super sweet boy, who is quiet and calm. He is a big boy at about 85 pounds, and likes to be right by his favorite peoples side. He is potty trained and crate trained. A family who is around a lot and loves to include their dog in their activities would be ideal for him! Duke walks well on a leash. He gets nervous and drools a lot on car rides, as the last few rides he has been on meant he was going someone new and that makes him nervous. He is up to date on shots for his age, Neutered, microchipped and comes with a leash/collar and hisr medical records. He is being fostered in Union Grove, WI. His adoption fee is $500 firm. Duke's adoption fee will be used to finance our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. If you are serious about Duke, please contact us at [email protected]. Holds are handled on a first-come, first-served basis with respect to the first person to place an exclusive hold deposit as instructed by the rescue. Once you have made the deposit, it is refundable so long as you show up to meet the dog on the agreed date. Prior notification of an intended no-show/non-delivery does not constitute showing up.
