About Russell

This handsome face belongs to Russell, a tri-color Border Collie who was born in February, 2022. Russell currently weighs 40 pounds and should grow a but more. Russell is crate trained and making good progress on house training. Russell is learning all about home life and being a best pal. He is initially timid when he meets new people so will appreciate a home that gives him time to see that you are safe. Because of this, he isn't a fit for a busy home or one with small kids (or an apartment complex with lots of people coming and going). For those who give him a bit of time, he is such a cuddler! He is fun and quirky and ready to give love. He just takes a bit of patience. Click on the red YouTube button to watch Russell tell you about himself. Randall is good with other dogs and is definitely a follower. His new home must have a confident dog pal to show him the ropes. Russell is also good with cats. Russell is starting to learn about the leash. Its still a bit scary to him. He is also not sure about car rides and can get sick. With time and positive experiences, we think both car rides and walks will become a good thing. Russell will be a bit of effort but will definitely be worth it. Russell is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Southern CA. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
