About Atlantis

Hi, I'm Atlantis! ME: About a year old, I am a special type of hound - a 30 lb affection hound. I luv, luv, luv me some hoomans. Most people are first attracted to my eyes, but what wins them over? My sweet, affectionate demeanor! I'm currently getting some much needed vet care and will be ready to go to my furever home very soon. So far, I'm not all that into other dogs, but I just got here and I haven't had a chance to decompress. I haven't been in a home, yet, either, so we're still unsure of my potty skills and the like. I've been pretty calm and chill, too, but since I don't feel all that well, could be I will be a much more active teenager once I am 100%. YOU: I don't really care. You be you. Just be good to me, take me on two structured walks each day, set good boundaries so that I stay the sweet boy that I already am, and snuggle with me regularly. Can you do that? You CAN????? That is SO exciting! Please, fill out an application right now! That truly is all I want. HISTORY: I was put in the night drop at the Wildomar shelter not long ago. I'd not had the greatest of care. Since, I've been microchipped, had a couple vet visits, and have been neutered. I have what appears to be a problem with a tooth that didn't come through OK and is causing swelling and issues in my mouth. CARES, Hope for Paws, the local Camino Pet Hospital and TLRD are all over it, helping me get this fixed!
