Reece is a beautiful, brindle Plott Hound mix; he is so very handsome! He is very friendly boy and gets along with other dogs, cats and kids! He is so dog friendly, that he will need to be adopted into a family with other sweet pup(s) for him to play with and help him build his confidence. He wouldn't be very happy as an only dog; he loves being with his foster fur siblings. Reece's regular routine right now is waking up and having a yummy breakfast, followed up with playtime and walks. He likes to go outside every few hours and plays with his foster furry friends. Dinner is always delicious and he is ready to put on a few extra pounds. At the end of the day, he sleeps in his foster parents bed or the chair in their room. Some of Reece's awesome traits are; he is happy and playful; social with people including children and social with other dogs; he is gentle and has a sweet personality; he loves attention to include pets and belly rubs and he prefers to be near you but necessarily on you; he has found all kinds of toys to be a great thing and likes chewy ones, stuffed ones, squeaky ones all fun things! Reece could be a good dog for an apartment, condo or townhome. Even though he is a bigger boy; he just loves being with his people so does not require a fenced yard. His family would just need to get him out regularly throughout the day for walks, runs and playtime. He is well behaved on a leash as well so another bonus for Reece. Reece is smart and food and treat motivate. He is easily redirected and wants to learn and be a good boy. He has a submissive personality which is very endearing. He can be a little mischievous to include being a bit of a counter surfer. He has the height, the nose and so his family will need to teach him what he can and cannot have through positive reinforcement training. Reece is a little shy with strangers when he first meets them but quickly warms up with kindness and friendly rubs. Reece may even lean into you a bit to let you know he is comfortable, happy and secure. He is just a super sweet boy! He is currently crate training. He prefers to be out of his crate rather than inside of it. This will be something his family will need to continue to work with him on. He hasn't had too many car rides yet and did fine.
