About Starsky

Starksy is a beautiful brindle boy who is about 18 months old. Him and his brother Hutch were picked up on the side of the highway in Oklahoma in the pouring rain when they were younger. Despite his good size, he is a little scaredy cat. He jumps when there are sudden noises and he is a bit scared of men. He loooves other dogs and is submissive with other males. He does well in the crate. After an initial few minutes of barking, he settles down and is quiet. He was good around the cats in the rescue because they are not phased by dogs at all but unsure how he would act around a cat that is aggressive/hostile towards him. His foster mom says he is not destructive and that the two times he has taken shoes outside, he gave them up immediately when directed to do so. He is also potty trained. His ideal home would have another dog for him to play with and any males in the home would have to be a patient and showing him that they can be trusted. He does not show any aggression towards men, he is just timid/scared around them.
