About Luck

Meet Luck, Luck. He is approx., 3-4 years old, weighs a good 75 pounds, and is a good boy. Luck has not had a steady family life except with his foster family sadly. He is a very loving and obedient boy that needs a truly experienced dog advocate that knows how to handle dogs. Luck is housebroken, crate trained, knows cues like; sit, stay, lay down, and come, and is a great listener. Luck is a passionate, loyal companion to his people and would do best with a single individual that needs a best buddy to hang around with at home, go hiking, etc. Or a couple with no kids and another fur playful friend or needing just one. Luck loves to play fetch, walk, hike and just spend time with his human in a quiet setting. Luck can be protective around strangers, but with a human who he trusts and does proper introductions, he is fine. Luck prefers a home that is quiet and uneventful and that can be his favorite place. He loves to be pampered, dish out kisses, and give kisses back. He loves to lounge and sunbathe. Luck does need a strong leader to whom he looks for guidance and is obedient. Luck is a truly affectionate boy that has come a long way from hardships that need to live his life with a family that truly adores him and wants his companionship until death does us part. Luck requires a large fenced-in yard to run around in. Luck is fully medically vetted and microchipped. If interested go to complete our pre-adoption application. NOTE: If you don't have any dog experience or are not willing to build trust and a bond first with a dog that requires acclimating into a new environment and to the individual(s) in the household please do not apply for Luck. He is a fabulous dog that deserves a family member that understands how to talk dog.
