About Mason

Mason is 12 years old but you would not know it. He is spunky, playful, 20 pounds, full of life. Mason was rescued on the day he was supposed to be euthanized. What a tragedy that would've been. His foster writes: 'Mason is a joy, It's really hard to believe that he is an old man. His manners are impeccable. He is a gentle eater, no guarding at all, and he melded in with my two dogs like he's always been here, within minutes. He really wants to be a Velcro dog and he does not like it when it's bed time in his crate or if you go upstairs without him, he barks and whines but does stop after a few minutes.' A funny boy with short legs and long body. Mason is heartworm positive but we are paying for treatment. No longer a deal breaker. This boy has lots of life left in him and he means to enjoy it! Your prior or current dog must be on year round heartworm prevention. We prefer fenced yard but this is not required for all our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.
