About Roxie

Hi Future Family! My name is Roxie. My sister Bella and I are a bonded pair meaning we thrive when we're together and not apart. Bella's Rescue Me ID is 22-08-20-00234. Our mom passed away in May 2022. Our dad recently moved to a care home where he can get the help he needs, but we aren't allowed to go with him. I am a 10-year-old Aussie doodle. People say I'm goofy and comical, and very loving and affectionate. I can be vocal when new people approach or there are loud noises, but I warm up quickly and just want your affection and to feel safe. I love humans (kiddos, teenagers, and adults alike!), cats, and doggos who are similar or smaller in size. I love running in a fenced yard, cuddling under blankets, and getting belly rubs! But we all have our quirks! My mom and dad have been sick for some time, so I'll need a little extra help. I am getting used to walking on a harness and leash. I use potty pads indoors like a champ. Someone who knows the value of TLC and going slow knows the value of me! I recently went to the vet. I'm current on all vaccines, heartworm and parasite free, and am on heartworm preventative medication.
