**PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY** REQUIREMENTS: Younger, active and dog savvy owner(s); secure fenced yard; owner(s) willing to continue basic obedience training with consistency so he can be his best self; any children in the home should be at least 12 years old and have experience with dogs; no smaller dogs or cats please! BIO: Meet Jovi! Jovi is 1-year-old, 45-pound Lab/Terrier mix who is looking for a dog savvy, active, energetic family who can keep up with him! Jovi will need plenty of playtime, toys and exercise in his new home. He is looking for a family with plenty of time and patience for obedience training..the terrier in him can make him a bit stubborn at times, so consistency and guidance will be necessary for him to succeed and quality treats for a reward are always a plus! Since coming to Pathways, he is learning his manners and will need to continue learning commands. His foster mom is training him on come, wait, leave it, sit, and stay and his new family will need to continue this training to help him be the best he can be! He likes mental stimulation like puzzles with hidden food or any other stimulating games, but he also can be very relaxed and just lounge around with you on the couch. He is still a big clumsy puppy who doesn't know his size and strength, so proper introductions to dogs and people are always necessary. Any children in the home should be at least 12 years old and have some experience with dogs. Jovi will require a secure, fenced yard that allows for a lot of exercise. He is a smart, energetic puppy who loves companionship of people and other dogs. He is a very loving boy who craves attention and lots of exercise! He is crate trained (if needed), rides well in the car, is housebroken and loves all toys and games, but is not fond of cats, so NO cats please! Jovi is an excellent companion and as he matures, will be the perfect addition to an active family or couple who love to go hiking or walking! Jovi is one of those dogs who wants to be your best friend and what a great friend he would be! Jovi is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. He will go to his new home with a collar, harness and leash. His adoption fee is $480.00.
