About CARLOS

Carlos is 4 years old and about 13-14 lbs. This little cutie is a little timid initially but warms up quickly and loves getting attention. At home he prefers to be the center of attention but is never aggressive or protective. Carlos is always curious about what's going on and will stand on another dog to get closer, get an extra head scratch or to squeeze in right next to you. But come nap time, he's the first to snuggle down with his buddies in their bed or on them. He is cat and dog friendly, and may do best with a more submissive dog sibling but definitely needs a friend. He has done well in a crate, and is now very good on a leash. His foster mom has worked hard on housebreaking and is is pretty much 100% now in her home (of course might require some adjustment to new routine) He has not shown food aggression but will definitely try every bowl that's available to him. Carlos tolerates teenagers, but overall doesn't prefer their company. He may do well in an older kid home or with kids who respect his boundaries.
