About Trey

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] I rescued Trey from the humane society on 7/24. I immediately bonded with him because of his sweet, playful, and obedient personality. Not to mention he is handsome and has beautiful light eyes. He is a lap dog that loves attention and wants to be by your side everywhere you go. He loves walks, car rides, and playing with other dogs and people. He is house trained, crate trained, and follows commands like sit, stay, come, etc. He is a smart pup and learns very quickly. Unfortunately, Trey has kennel cough and is currently being treated with antibiotics. He is not able to be around other dogs because he is contagious. I live in an apartment complex and it is very difficult to walk him without exposing other dogs. It excites him to see other people and dogs (he is friendly and wants to say hi) but he gets worked up which is not helping his cough. Since he has been in my care, he has experienced 2 seizures, both while on a walk. I'm concerned that my living environment is not the right fit for him and I'm afraid I won't be able to give him proper care. He has shown minor maladaptive behavior with males which seems to be out of fear. He is responsive to commands and I believe that can improve in the right care. Trey is truly a gem and it breaks my heart to give him up, but he deserves to have a home that suits his needs and an owner that can provide better care for him.
