Karl will be 2 years old on September 4th. He is a big baby and loves to snuggle. He also has an E-collar. He can sit and stay and has no food aggression. He loves loves loves toys. I did not do research on this breed of dog as I wanted one since I was a kid from the books. We have taken him to a training boot camp. He is very protective over our stairs and nee people coming over. He will block my son from being able to get around the house and has nipped 2 people. We have so much traffic with 3 kids and we are terrified someone will get hurt. He goes after other dogs unless I see them first and tell him to sit and leave it or no. We are a household of people who's nature is not to be dominate. So Karl takes advantage. We were unable to kennel train him as he would fight us. We would chain him up on his bed but we would come home to him covered in drool from stress. He won't eat from separation anxiety. He has gotten better about chewing things up but not 100%. He loves shoe soles. He is good with people when he is around them in the front yard but then becomes protective in the house. I work 10hr days and can't give him the care he needs or have the ability. I love this dog so much and would love to be able to visit or dog sit when his new owner goes out of town.
