Two-year-old, Rocky needs a heavyweight champion to free him from the Shelter. The neutered 58 pound youngster was surrendered for 'no time,' but since he arrived at North Central in July, he's been labeled Major Medical. There are no notes, but he's collapsed twice while exercising in the yard. Handlers have gone slow with him, but he's been in a play group with another dog and dipped a few times in the pool. He's had no more reported incidences. There are no medical notes to judge his condition. He appears stable. And, once outside his kennel (reluctant to return), he's friendly, accepts affection, good with dogs, and is an all-round, easy-going companion. If you are familiar with the Cattle Dog breed or want to help see that young Rocky gets the care he needs to enjoy a dog's life, please visit North Central Shelter to adopt or rescue him.
