About Ruby

Ruby is an approx 10 mos old 25# mix of everything. Some think pug/beagle, some think she could have anything from Boxer to Bassett to Pekingese. Whatever she's mixed with, she's the perfect pup for an active and dog savvy person. She's been bounced around a bit in her first year of life and has some separation anxiety slo she'll bark and whine when her person leaves but it's not over the top so this can be worked on with training, but it is best for her to be in a home where her humans are home and/or she can accompany them to the office. She'd also do great in doggie daycare. She LOVES playing with other dogs, no matter what size. She also loves to play fetch with the ball. Ruby is mostly potty trained but may have a few accidents while she adjusts to a new environment with a new routine. If you're looking for a hiking or adventure buddy she's your girl! She is still very puppy like and will need some lessons in manners. She's done well in previous homes with respectful kids 8+ but no cats. We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home including pets. Ruby is spayed, utd on vacccs, chipped, and HW-. Her adoption fee is $375 and we are not doing out of state adoptions.
